Ways to donate

Show your support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people, by making a tax-deductible donation to Indigenous-led programs that create genuine change.

Donate

Your tax-deductible donations enable wrap-around support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people across NSW and the NT, so they can thrive, from education to employment to family life.

Fundraise

Do something deadly for our Mob. There’s lots of ways to donate money to programs that strengthen cultural pride and make school a better, safer place to be for our young people.

Regular giving

Giving monthly helps us be there for all our young people. Join our community of Regular Givers and make sure our programs have a future.

Workplace giving

Make regular donations to NASCA directly from your pre-tax pay. It’s a simple and effective way to help us support Indigenous young people to thrive at school and beyond.

Gifts in Wills

By leaving a gift in your Will to NASCA, you’ll be doing your part to build a proud, prosperous, and healthy Australia where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people thrive.

Every donation is an investment in a young person’s future

Time and again, our young people show what they can achieve with the right support. Get behind programs designed and led by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

About your donation to NASCA

Your tax-deductible donations keep NASCA’s life-changing programs running so our young people can connect to their Culture. So they can feel respected, valued, and able to excel, whether at maths, sport, art, or anything they choose – from school to further education and employment.

Your gift could provide:

  • In-class and academic support for a young person struggling at school
  • Cultural activities so a young person can connect to Culture and Mob
  • Healthy meals and transport to and from school
  • One-to-one mentoring for a young person going through a tough time

Every year the Australian Government delivers the Closing the Gap Report, and every year we fail to achieve the targets set out. Simply put, we are failing to reduce the disparity between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians. That’s where NASCA comes in.

As a 100% Indigenous-governed and led organisation we have the unique expertise and lived experience to deliver the right support to our communities.

In 2023 here’s what supporters like you made possible:

  • 95% Year 12 attainment rate (compared to the latest NSW average of 54%)
  • 1,589 young people supported
  • 13,870 hours of academic support
  • 1,100 young people participated in Pathways Program workshops
  • 1,600 hours of cultural connection sessions
  • 6,748 hours of one-to-one mentoring

Yes, donations over $2 are tax-deductible in Australia. You will receive a receipt in your name.

If you donate to an organisation classified as a ‘deductible gift recipient’ (like NASCA), you can claim a tax deduction on your tax return for that year for your donation. Donating to a deductible gift recipient will likely reduce your overall taxable income, which may reduce the amount of tax you are required to pay.

You must donate at least $2 and keep proof in the form of a receipt or bank statement. When you donate to NASCA, we’ll send you a tax receipt. The more you donate, the more you may claim back. Find out more

Our regular givers make an automatic donation every four weeks, either by credit card or direct debit. No matter the amount, we value it more than we can say – because there are regular funds coming in and we can focus on programs rather than fundraising.

We would love to help you answer any questions. Please call (02) 8399 3071 or get in contact with us via our contact us page. Please don’t include your credit card details in your email for security reasons.
