This year, NASCA is proud to celebrate 30 years of walking alongside our communities. We’re marking the occasion with a Traditional Indigenous Games Tournament on Friday, October 17th 2025, at the National Centre of Indigenous Excellence, Redfern NSW.
A special event that celebrates our Culture, strengthens community connections and raises much-needed funds to keep our work going strong.

What’s happening on the day?
- Welcome to Country & Smoking Ceremony: Start the day the right way, with an acknowledgment of Country.
- Traditional Indigenous Games: Join in or cheer on teams as they play Buroinjin and Munhanganing – traditional Indigenous games that connect us to Country and Culture.
- Cultural performances: Be inspired by performances from local Indigenous artists and NASCA students.
- Community stalls: Check out local Indigenous-owned businesses offering delicious food, unique art, and cultural experiences.
- Grand Final & Awards: Celebrate as the top teams battle for the championship title.

Register your interest above and we’ll contact you about how to get involved. These are just some of the ways you can participate:
- Register a team: Get your Mob together – friends, and workmates, and join the games. Team entry starts at $5,000 for a team of 10 people. Mob discounts are available.
- Become a sponsor: Show your commitment to community and Culture. Sponsorship includes branding opportunities and the chance to make a real impact.
- Donate or fundraise: Help keep NASCA’s programs going strong. Donations and community fundraising efforts go a long way.
- Spruik your business: Are you a local business? Want to run a stall at the Tournament? Get in touch!
