Your Role

The objective of the Deputy CEO role is to provide executive leadership across NASCA, ensuring operational excellence, strong governance, effective delivery of strategic plans, and culturally grounded outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the CEO to shape and drive NASCA’s strategic direction and organisational performance.
  • Co-lead execution of the Strategic and Operational Plans across a geographically dispersed footprint.
  • Hold enterprise-wide accountability for operational excellence, governance, risk, and compliance.
  • Lead and strengthen central office functions including Operations, Human Resources, and Marketing, Partnerships and Engagement
  • Drive continuous improvement across people, processes, and infrastructure.
  • Contribute to financial stewardship, performance monitoring, and long-term organisational sustainability.
  • Act for the CEO as required, providing decisive leadership and maintaining executive continuity.
  • Represent NASCA with key stakeholders, partners, and external forums when appropriate.
